Job Description:
Shopko’s Pharmacy Internship Program is a great way to experience the rewards of working in a retail pharmacy while practicing the skills learned in a classroom setting. Internships are tailored to the individual needs of each Student and include learning in several areas such as: pharmacy management, consultation, drug interactions, pharmacy ethics, pediatrics, pregnancy, and disease state management.
As a Student of Pharmacology in your FIRST or SECOND Professional year, you will experience our professional dedication to retail health and why it makes us unique from other retailers. Because Shopko believes that development of future pharmacists is critical to the profession, we encourage you to participate in a Pharmacy Internship Program with a company that leads the country in pharmacist support.
As an intern, you will learn our high standards for patient care under the direct supervision of a knowledgeable, experienced pharmacist preceptor who will work with your desires as well as the community needs.
To qualify for the intern program, you MUST be enrolled in a Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D program and have a current intern license. Please inquire about how Shopko can help you with your college financing with a Student Loan Program for up the $33,000.
